Critchill achieves perfect score in Gadsby Benchmarks for Career Education

Critchill School in Somerset were recently assessed as achieving 100% in all Gatsby Benchmarks for career education.

I had the pleasure of presenting Sally Smiles, Career Leader, with a certificate from HotSW Careers Hub reflecting all the hard work and commitment to improving opportunities and future outcomes for Critchill students.

Sally is amazing and blows me away with her creativity and how she has managed to organise so many meaningful encounters with employers, even in these challenging times. She has the full backing of SLT and the head Sophie Addison which makes such a difference.

Steven Daniels the Enterprise Adviser supports the school in both a strategic and on an operational level and has been a great asset to the school for a number of years now.
Andy Jones, Career Link Governor is a huge support by questioning, challenging but also coming up with suggestions and solutions.

It really is the dream team and Critchill are now working towards gaining the Quality in Careers Standard and because they already have a well-established career programme, they are well on the way to achieving this. Well done Critchill and everyone involved.
